Join us on Sunday, September 20 from 1 to 4 p.m.,  for fun, prizes and solidarity as we gather to support our scholarship program that benefits the sons and daughters of union members here in Pierce County.

Since 2003, more than $29,000 has been awarded to 35 graduating seniors from union families in Pierce County. A long-time community leader, Jerry Beckendorf retired from the United Way of Pierce County after working 15 years as the United Way and Pierce County Labor Council's Labor Liaison. His commitment and efforts to build a better community continue to impact in the lives of Pierce County residents.

Join the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and Independent Unions from around the Puget Sound for the 29th annual Solidarity Day and food drive at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Sunday, July 26, gates open at noon.
